Join us on our annual expedition into the beautiful country of Oman. Oman is an incredibly diverse country and on this 10 day expedition we will see it all as we target Omans 7 species of viper, aswell as Cobras, Chameleon, Wolves, Leopards, Omani Owls & many more.
Komodo
Come August the Australian Wildlife Encounters team will lead a large production company into one of the most famous herpetological destinations in the world. Komodo Island.
Thailand
Come September we will be off to one of our favourite herping destinations in the world. Thailand is an incredibly diverse country with some extremely unique native fauna. During our time in Thailand we will search for everything from King Cobras to Asiatic Leopards.
Cape York - Tasmania
What do you get when you pair up the AWE team with a two hardcore mammal enthusiasts?
A 5 week long expedition from the Cape York to Tasmania in search of as many native mammal species as possible!
Cape York, Darwin, Alice Springs
October 2020 will see us kick off one of our largest expeditions to date, as we travel to 3 of Australia’s most wildlife dense regions in search of some incredibly rare and unique reptile species.
Komodo, New Zealand
Come November the AWE team will be heading back to Komodo as we aim to photograph one of the worlds most famous reptile species, the Komodo Dragon.
After Komodo we will see a very large change of scenery as we travel from the Tropical Heat of Indonesia to the islands of New Zealand where we will search for another famous Lizard, The Tuatra!
